She was predeceased by: her son Jeffrey (John); and her parents, Marie Abbott and Donald Abbott. She is survived by: her daughters, Wendy (Zdravko Javor) and Sherri (Derek Johnson); her brother Gary (Susan Abbot); her grandchildren, Shayla, Jacob, Tyler and Hunter; her great grandchildren, Hazel, Ari and Juno; and her husband John.
