She is survived by: her children, Ron (Nancy), Susan Finlay (Malcolm) and Ken (Ardina). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Doreen's memory may be made to St. Joseph's Hospital or the Cancer Centre at Thunder Bay Regional Hospital.
