It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dorothy Rose Christy (Thunder Bay, Ontario), born in Fort Frances, Ontario, who passed away on December 29, 2018, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Peachey and Jessie Peachey; and her brother-in-law Don Chase. She is survived by: her husband Peter Christy; her children, Lynne Seaman of Calgary, Jack Christy (Larry Adams) of Thunder Bay and Lorraine Christy (Steve Lankin); her grandchildren, Jaime Seaman, Margot Seaman and Peter Lankin; her sisters, Jane Peachey and Peg Chase; and her siblings' children, Ken Chase and Carol Chase of Thunder Bay.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations to Lakehead Public Schools for a memorial scholarship in her name - For the love of education.
