He was predeceased by: his wife Erna; his sons, Alan and Kevin; his parents, Steven Novak and Pauline Bagan (Novak); his stepfather Nick Bagan; and his brother Mickey.

He is survived by: his daughter Nancy Colledanchise (Nick); his grandchildren, Tyler (Jessica Wall) and Kali Colledanchise; and his daughters-in-law, Debbie and Brenda.
