She was predeceased by: her parents, Raakeli and Eino Pihlaja; her stepmother Eeva Pihlaja; and her parent-in-law Olavi Niivila (Lillian). She is survived by: her husband Ernie; her sons, Mika (Ava-Lisa) and Tapio (Heather); her grandchildren, Mitcheall, Arron, Jayden and Ethan; and her great grandchild Alivia. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
