With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eileen Pickard (Thunder Bay, Ontario), born in Pickering, Ontario, who passed away on October 19, 2022 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Purdy and Frances Purdy; her husband Dick (Dick); her son Bob Pickard; her son-in-law Leo Scanlan; and her sister Jean.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sharon Warren (Ed), Carol Ellis and Barb Scanlan; her grandchildren, Cindy Warren, Andrew Ellis, Trish Matthews (Will), Amy Bonenfant (Curtis), Bill Pickard (Audrey), Lisa Scanlan (Stephan) and Chris Scanlan; and her great grandchildren, Jayden Matthews, Liam Pickard and Peter Matthews. She is also survived by her extended family and friends.
If friends so desire, (in lieu of flowers) donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Thunder Bay or charity of choice.
