In loving memory of Ellen Agnes Dixon (Thunder Bay, Ontario), who departed this world on June 21, 2025 at the age of 93. Ellen Agnes leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Friday and Agnes Friday; her in-laws, Herb and Mary Dixon (Jack); her son Tom; her son-in-law Dan; and her sister Ruth Vester (Russell).
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Routhier (Donnie), Mary Ellen Lewtas, Ann Zsakai (Joe), Pat (Jean) and Mark (Lorraine); her daughter-in-law Lorie Dixon; her grandchildren, Christopher (Naomii), Matthew (Chantelle), TJ, Justin, Jackie (Colin), Kim (Curtis) and Michael; and her friends, Helen, Irene and Rosemary. She is also survived by five great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Loretto Church (290 Grenville Ave, Thunder Bay, ON P7A2A9). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
Should friends so desire, donations may be made in Ellen's memory to Our Lady of Loretto Church Fund, St. Joseph's Care Group, or a charity of your choice.
