In the echoes of fond remembrance, may a sense of peace be found, knowing that the memories held dear will continue to shape and inspire her loved ones, keeping Elsie's spirit alive in the hearts and actions of family and friends alike. While her presence may be gone, her impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.

She was loved and cherished by many people including : her husband Calvin; her children, Mark (Claypole), Eliza and Claypole (Belluz); her granddaughter Megan; and her daughter Paramed. She was also cherished by the oldest of 5 siblings.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 28th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Waverley Chapel (299 Waverley St, Thunder Bay, ON P7B5Z7). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 29th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Epiphany Lutheran Church (499 Dewe Avenue, Current River P7A2H1).
