She was predeceased by: her siblings, Lila Ilkka, Allan Ojala and Willie Ojala. She is survived by: her sister Irene Loponen (Thunder Bay); her nephew Ed Loponen (Fran); and her nieces, Sharon Schneider (Bruce) and Fay Broemer (Dale). She is also survived by nephews/niece and 4 great great nephews and niece.
