She was predeceased by: her parents, Elijah Beardy and Mary Beardy; her husband Isaiah; her siblings, Richard Beardy, Ruth Beardy, Lucy Taylor (David), Abigail Adams (Thomas), Louisa Beardy, Gladys Kanate (Jacob Sr.) and MaryAnne Beardy (Shady); her grandmother Madeline Beardy; and her granddaughter Abigayle Kanate.
She is survived by: her children, Ingrid and Richard Beardy; her grandchildren, Jordan, Tyrell, Rachel, Amanda and Gloria; her siblings, Grace Matawapit (Maio), Esther Beardy and Douglas Beardy; and also Azraya. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, in-laws, cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Everest of Thunder Bay - Westfort Chapel (420 Gore St W, Thunder Bay, ON P7E6J2). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the North Caribou Lake First Nation (30 Band Office Road, WEAGAMOW LAKE, ON P0V2V0).
