He is survived by: his siblings, Mary Kuurila (Ken), Sharon Sallasvaara (Lauri), Audrey DeRoy (George), George Boyes, Lee DeRoy (Dawna) and Emile DeRoy (Elizabeth); his nieces and nephews, David, Desi Lindstrom, Jason Childs, Todd Childs, Kenny Kuurila, Jared Kuurila, Christopher DeRoy, Landon Gagnon, Danika DeRoy, Emily, Jasmine, Jalynn, Madison, Nora, Myrah, Brandon, Jarrett, Wade, Lyak, Kai, Jax and Kayson; his aunts, Nora Rynannen and Evelyn Sherer; and also Anishinaabe.
