It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eva Hakala (Thunder Bay, Ontario), who passed away on September 8, 2018, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Eva Hakala to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vaino Romu and Elizabeth Kuurila; her brothers, Matti Romu, Antti Romu and Lauri Romu (Sulo); and her grandson Matti Hakala.
She is survived by: her husband Sulo Hakala; her sons, Allan and Brian (Helen); and her grandchildren, Vilija Hakala, Will Hakala, Thomas Hakala, Sarah Hakala, Karl Hakala and Monika Hakala. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
