It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Lorraine Sarachman (Thunder Bay, Ontario), who passed away on September 9, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Susan Harriet and Roy Blanchard; her siblings, Raymond Jaggard and Fran Guitard; her brother-in-law Gerry Matte; and her daughter Diana Saari.

She is survived by: her husband Edward Sarachman; her son Richard Lavack; her siblings, Rose Matte and Maurice Blanchard; her son-in-law Brian Saari; and her grandchildren, Candice Hamlin (John), Eddie Saari (Megan), Christopher Saari (Serena), Trevor Culhane (Megan), Kevin Lavack (Sarah) and Jan Lavack (Micha).
