Frances Serafini Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances Serafini (Thunder Bay, Ontario), who passed away on September 24, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Frances departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Frances may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Frances leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Maria Siedlikowski (Mary) and Franciszek Siedlikowski (Frank); and her husband Michele Serafini (Mike). She is survived by: her children, John Serafini (Pamela) and Marianna Serafini; her granddaughter Arabella Serafini; and her siblings, Stanley Siedlikowski (Shelley) and Sophie Olson (Ron). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews in Thunder Bay, and numerous family members.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Everest Funeral Chapel (299 Waverley St, Thunder Bay, ON P7B5Z7). A prayer will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mary's Our Lady Queen of Poland Roman Catholic Church (299 Waverley St, Thunder Bay, ON P7B5Z7).
In lieu of flowers, should friends desire, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Diabetes Canada, or the Northern Cancer Research Foundation – organizations held near and dear to Fran's heart.
