He was predeceased by: his parents, Luigi Valente and Angelina Valente; his sisters-in-law, Donna Valente and Colleen Valente; Martha Clowes and Llewellyn Clowes.

He is survived by: his wife Sharon Clowes; his children, Nicholas, Anthony (Catherine) and Catareana; the mother of his children Tere; his brother Bruno; his children, Luigi (Alana), Angie, Joe, Joey, David and Jon (Megan); his sister Rose Migliazza (Tony); his nephews, Samuel and Lucas (Amanda); and his niece Angelica (Pseudo). He is also survived by his family, friends.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sargent & Son Funeral Chapel (21 Court St N, Thunder Bay, ON P7A4T4). A prayer was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Anthony's R. C. Church (123 Hilldale Rd, Thunder Bay, ON P7G1H6).
