With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Freda Karioja of Thunder Bay, Ontario, who passed away on April 26, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Peter Karioja; her parents, Anna Akervall and Unno Akervall; and her brother Henry Akervall. She is survived by: her sisters, Evelyn Heroux and Anna Akervall; her daughters, Kim, Jill, Reija and Teryl; and her grandchildren, Robyn, Nickolas and Theoren. She is also survived by Her nieces, nephews and their children.
