With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George J. Slyford Jr. (Thunder Bay, Ontario), who passed away on December 29, 2018. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alice Slyford and George Slyford; his brother Ernie Slyford; his niece Shannon Halvorsen; and his brother-in-law Brian Derkatch.
He is survived by: his wife Lynn; his stepson Jamie Thibeault; his siblings, Ken Johnson, Ted Slyford, Juliann Halvorsen (Wayne), Nancy Ross (Gerry), Jan Derkatch and Tammy Benvenuto (Joe); and his sister-in-law Rhonda.
Should friends so desire, donations can be made in George's memory to the Diabetes Association or The Heart and Stroke foundation.
