He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret; his son Kevin; his parents, George and Ada; and his sister Violet.
He is survived by: his daughter Brenda Nahkala (Kevin); his grandsons, Mitchell and Cameron (Erin); his daughter-in-law Ellen; his grandsons, Blake (Courtney) and Devin (Montana); his great grandchildren, Miles and Maddox; and his siblings-in-law, David and Rosalie. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
