He was predeceased by: his son Ryan; his parents, Douglas Lawrence Adams and Marjorie Louise Adams; his parents-in-law, Dorothy Rose Christy and Peter Kenneth Walter Christy; and his brother-in-law Steve Lankin.
He is survived by: his son Steven Adams; his daughter-in-law Megan; his granddaughter Ryan Adams; his sister Jean Eagle (Don); his sibling's children, Heather Martin (André) and Doug Eagle; his sisters-in-law, Lynne Seaman (Darrell Penner) and Lorraine Christy; his sibling's children, Jaime Potter (Jamie), Margot Morrissey (Josh) and Pete Lankin (Shawna Mehagan); and his friends, Stéphane Vallée and Andrew Oleski. He is also survived by numerous cousins, grandnieces and a grandnephew.
