He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Mononen and Liisa Mononen; and his sisters, Reija and Raini Mononen (Tuula). He is survived by: his daughter Kayla (Travis); his grandson Nikko (Tammy); his son Brenden Mononen; the parent of his children Shannon Redden; his significant other Tammy; his siblings, Ira (Frances) and Raija (Paul); his nephew Steve; and his niece Jennifer (Tony).
