He was predeceased by: his parents, Kosti HappaNiemi and Ester (Lehtinen). He is survived by: his wife Carole Niemi (Pavletic); his daughters, Lorri Currie (Ed) and Linda Hirvela (Dave); his grandchildren, Sean Currie (Courtney), Jennifer Kadolph (Chris), Stephanie Leitrants (Colin) and Jared Hirvela; and his brother Al HappaNiemi. He is also survived by His children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
