She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen McGregor and Norman McGregor (Alfred); and her sister Loretta Thompson. She is survived by: her husband Alfred; her children, Sandra Hey-Stokes (Bill), Wendy Turnbull, Jayne Marier (Reil), Wayne and Kenneth; and her grandson Kevin Marier (Shayla).
