We bid farewell to Hieu Trong Dao (Thunder Bay, Ontario), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 3, 2025 at the age of 72. Hieu touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Duc Trong Dao and Nho Thi Le. He is survived by: his wife Huong Nguyen; his children, Anh, Nhat (Tam), Tuan, Chau (Andrew), Yung (Tom) and Tram (Ben); his grandchildren, Dyllan, Nguyet, Tien, Ella, Evie, Jade, Ruby, Conrad and Noah; and his siblings, Nghia, Trung, Thanh, Tai, Minh, Thuy, Tuyet and Nhung.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sargent & Son Funeral Chapel (21 Court St N, Thunder Bay, ON P7A4T4).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Foundation – Northern Cancer Fund.
