He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Burns and Nina Burns; his brother Donald; his sister-in-law Lois; his nephew Brian Burns; his parents-in-law, Michael Baranowski and Paulina Baranowski; his siblings-in-law, Michael, John, Daniel, William Baranowski, Mary, Olga, Nettie, Pauline, Irene Baranowski, Irene Dick, Stella Ball and Anne Cutts; his nieces, Leanne Ball and Mitzi Dick; and his nephew Danny Baranowski.
He is survived by: his wife Julia; his children, Jeffrey and Jennifer Myllymaa (Peter); his granddaughters, Katia, Raija and Ava Myllymaa; his sister Vera Burns; and his sisters-in-law, Amy and Iris Baranowski. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sargent & Son Funeral Chapel (21 Court St N, Thunder Bay, ON P7A4T4).
