He was predeceased by: his father George Dance; his grandparents, Ernest Dance, Edith Dance, Mike Chikoski and Gabrielle Chikoski; and his nephew Allen Siciliano.
He is survived by: his mother Bernice Dance; his siblings, Evelyn Morrison (Dave), Michael, Rose and Peter (Rita); and his son Tyler Macleay.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to James' favourite charity, "The Dew Drop Inn.".
