She was predeceased by: her father Ronald McBain; her husband Jack (Jack); her brother John; her brother-in-law Barry; and her aunt Marion.
She is survived by: her mother Kathleen McBain; her children, Patrick (Theresa), Richard and Sherri (Wally); her grandchildren, Cody, Skylar (Ami), Zachary (Michelle), Ava, Sarah, Parker (Kelly) and Jacqueline (Andreas); her great grandchildren, Hayden and Amelia; her sisters, Veronica Galway and Darlene McBain-Howard; and her close friend Max.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Westfort Chapel (420 Gore St W, Thunder Bay, ON P7E6J2). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Joanne's memory may be made to the Thunder Bay 55 Plus Centre.
