It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Macsemchuk (Thunder Bay, Ontario), who passed away on January 7, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Macsemchuk and Pearl Macsemchuk; his brothers, Michael, Tony (Maizie) and Bill Macsemchuk (Eva); his grandson Douglas Macsemchuk; and his sister-in-law Aune Parker (Matt).

He is survived by: his significant other Aileen Niemi; his children, Gary (Melody) and Sharon Boudreau (Kevin); his grandchildren, Craig (Olena) and Adelle Melanson (Bryce); and also, Allan Niemi (Lorna) of Oshawa, Maizie Macsemchuk and Eva Macsemchuk. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
