John Mirek Jonas Obituary

In loving memory of John Mirek Jonas (Thunder Bay, Ontario), who departed this world on January 15, 2026 at the age of 87. John Mirek leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Voito Jonas and Frances Jonas; and his wife Margaret June Poster. He is survived by: his children, Mike Dill, Heather Huntley (Don) and Jason Jonas (Lisa); and his grandchildren, Hailey, Lisa, Nick, Kate, Tianna and Corissa. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, in-laws and extended relatives.
