He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Naef and Elizabeth Naef; his grandparents, John, Pauline Naef, Otto and Helen Purje; his aunt Ruth Naef; his uncle Robert Purje; his pet Lady; and his great-nephew Tucker Gaudette.

He is survived by: his siblings, Paul Naef, Sharon Daniels (Bill), Catherine Britton (Neil) and Karen Simmons (Robert); his nieces and nephews, Thomas Britton (Arjean), Wendy Gaudette (Aaron), Liz Simmons, Noah Daniels and Jonah Daniels; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Brandon, Ayden, Chayse, Maddox, Callum, MacKenzie and Coen; and his friends, Brenda, Richard Landry, Brad Bonazzo, John Ramito, Tony P., John Condack and Doug Lukaway.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to an animal rescue of choice.
