He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Arola and Aune Arola; and his sister Aileen "Bubs" Arola. He is survived by: his wife Karen; his daughter Gina; his grandchildren, Kai, Micah, Audrey, Remi and Mila; and his cousins, Joan, Brian Gavin (Deb) and Wim van Borrendam.
