John Stephen Soychak Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Stephen Soychak (Thunder Bay, Ontario), who passed away on December 30, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rose Sojcak and John Sojcak. He is survived by: his son John Soychak (Leejah); his grandsons, Landon (Amber) and John Paul; his son Stephen Soychak (Lori); and his grandchildren, Aliya, Jayden and Kye. He is also survived by nephews and nieces.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Westfort Chapel (420 Gore St W, Thunder Bay, ON P7E6J2). A prayer was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Westfort Funeral Chapel (420 Gore St W, Thunder Bay, ON P7E6J2). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church (615 Connolly St, Thunder Bay, ON P7C2R4).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Canada.
