In loving memory of John Emil Walgren of Thunder Bay, Ontario, born in Regina, Saskatchewan, who departed this world on January 3, 2025 at the age of 71. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Walgren and Annie Walgren; his in-laws, Barney and Betty Tackney; and his siblings-in-law, Tom, Dennis Tackney and Jane Tackney.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly Duffield; his stepchildren, Craig Duffield (Frances Chapman) and Leah Ann Duffield; his granddaughter Meagan McIlwain; his sister Marilyn Froess; and his sisters-in-law, Debbie (Rod Bosch), Bonnie, Terry Joseph and Kim (Steven Meyer). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 12:10 PM at the St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church (1019 Brown Street P7E2L7).
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Thunder Bay Regional Hospital Cancer Care or St. Joseph Hospice.
