He is survived by: his wife June Shawayahamish; his children, Margaret Groulx (Mike Groulx), William Shawanamash, Wesley Shawanamash and Clifford Shawanamash (Melanie Wiese); his grandchildren, Adrian Kenny, Michaela Kenny, Ethan Shawanamash, Jordin Shawanamash, Bailey Roseborough, Carley Roseborough, Mackenzie Shawanamash and Hunter Echum; and his siblings, Angelique Shawayahamish (Peter Johnson), Elizabeth Nayanookeesic, Fred Shawayahamish, Yvonne Johnson (Jerry Johnson), Theresa Head (Joe Head), Raymond Shawayahamish, Ida Shawayahamish, George Nayanookeesic (Tuulikki), Mary Metansinine (John Metansinine), Harvey Nayanookeesic and Susan Lemieux.
