It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Francis Joanes (Thunder Bay, Ontario), who passed away on December 5, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his significant other Francie; his parents, Rosa Joanes and Rosario Joanes; and his siblings, Claudina, Netta and Louisa.
He is survived by: his sons, David and Paul; his daughter-in-law Patricia Joanes; his brother Jacob; and his pets, PJ and Luna.
