He was predeceased by: his wife Linda; his parents, Angus and Grace; his brother George; and his siblings-in-law, Louise, Melinda, Beverley, Betsy Rogers, Hugh Sutton and Gary Thorne.
He is survived by: his children, Diane, Sherry, Marilyn, Denise (Risto Ylipahkala) and Brian (Leann); his grandchildren, Abby, Ethan, Mia and Lucas; his brothers, Albert and Russell (Laurie); and his sisters-in-law, Marilyn Sutton and Vicki Thorne. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, godchildren and many dear friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Anthony's Church (123 Hilldale Rd, Thunder Bay, ON P7G1H6).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Ronald McDonald House Charities Canada.
