With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kim Brown (Thunder Bay, Ontario), who passed away on October 21, 2025 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Toini Pyhtila (Leo Kivilahti) and Mummu Ida Pyhtila; and her in-laws, Lorna and Bill Brown. She is survived by: her husband Joel Brown; her son Zane (Kerri); her grandson Ethan; her sibling Dale Kivilahti (Sonja); her sibling's children, Todd (Stephanie), Rachel (Jesse), Kyle (Lyne) and Marcus; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Cleo, Morgan, Audrey, Clara, Ty and Kohen; her sister-in-law Jennifer Brown; Bentti Pyhtila (Judy).
In lieu of flowers, should friends desire, donations may be made to the Thunder Bay Regional Hospital Cancer Clinic, the Nipigon District Hospital or a charity of your choice.
