He was predeceased by: his parents, Karl Daberer and Hermine Daberer; his parents-in-law, Walter and Anneliese Strasser; and his siblings, Clara (Eddy), Wilma (Zeno), Erich, Helga (Gert) and Werner (Lisel).

He is survived by: his wife Inge; his brother-in-law Walter (Liisa); his children, Peter, Volker (Kelly), Erich (Lori) and Daniela Nekuliak (Owen); and his siblings, Karl (Janine), Edith (Otto), Hertha (Detlef) and Inge (Oskar). He is also survived by many grandchildren (9), great grandchildren (8), nieces, and nephews.
