She was predeceased by: her parents, Yrjo Metsaranta and Lilja Metsaranta; and her husband Arvo. She is survived by: her sons, Harry and Andy (Hyosil); her granddaughter Freya; and her pet Finko. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 30th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hilldale Lutheran Church (321 Hilldale Rd, Thunder Bay, ON P7A8A2). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 30th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
