Manu Nojonen Obituary

We are sad to announce that on May 2, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Manu Nojonen (Thunder Bay, Ontario). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Rauha and Matti; his stepmother Hilja Luomajarvi-Nojonen; and his siblings, Veli Matti, Reima, Lea, Maija and Ulla.

He is survived by: his wife Aili; his daughters, Christine Nojonen and Karen Despres (Dennis) of Edmonton; his grandsons, Richard Despres (Lyin) of Victoria, B. C. and Andrew Despres (Erin) of Edmonton, Alberta; his great grandchildren, Marion and Edouard Despres of Victoria; and his brother Timo (Susan). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, as well as several cousins.

Due to the restrictions of Covid-19, there will be no memorial service at this time.

If friends desire, In lieu of flowers, donations in John's memory to Lappe Lutheran Church, Lutheran Community Care Centre chaplaincy program or St. Joseph's Foundation would be appreciated.
