She was predeceased by: her husband Jose Sousa. She is survived by: her children, Jose (Connie), Antonio (Irene), Duarte (Carma), Pedro (Iria), Carlos (Sheanna) and Diana Cerqueira (Manuel); and her grandchildren, Bruno Sousa, Michael Sousa (Stephanie), Chris Sousa (Marisa), Ashley May (Kyle), Sophia Grassia (Nick), Steven Sousa (Allie), Jessica Flores (Lenio), Brian Sousa (Desiree), Kayla (Christian), Andrea Sousa, Syvanna, Mathew, Aleecia, Azora Sousa, Ruben Cerqueira (Ashley), Jessica Seagries (Shawn) and Nicholas Cerqueira. She is also survived by 19 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society.
