Maria Tavares Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria Tavares (Thunder Bay, Ontario), who passed away on January 1, 2019, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Jose Martins and Urbana Martins; and her sister Zulmira. She is survived by: her husband Antonio; her son Isaac (Michelle); her grandchildren, Cassandra (Leonard) and Alexander (Georgia); and her sister Annunciacao. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society of Thunder Bay would be greatly appreciated.
