Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Marija Butorac (Thunder Bay, Ontario), who passed away at the age of 87, on September 27, 2025. In the vast expanse of eternity, Marija shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Marija farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Pavao Tomljenovic and Katica Tomljenovic. She is survived by: her daughters, Annie and Kathy; her son-in-law Brock; her grandsons, Kale and Jett; her brother Ivica (Nada); and her nieces, Marija and Lidija.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Andrew's Roman Catholic Church (294 Red River Rd, Thunder Bay, ON P7B1A8).
