He was predeceased by: his parents, Angela "Jean" Simmons and Lenard Simmons; his grandparents, Annunziata and Salvatore Siciliano; his mother-in-law Doris; and his nephew Jesse O'Neil.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Grawbarger (O'Neil); his son Mark (Rachell); his grandchildren, Cynthia and Bruce; his daughter Tracey Schenck (Joe); his grandsons, Samuel of Jordan, Ontario and Jonah of Jordan, Ontario; his brother Jim (Diana); his niece Nadine; his siblings-in-law, Shaun O'Neil (Lynn) of Pass Lake, Kevin O'Neil (Debbie), Colleen Snelgrove (Al), Kelly Green and Pat Hnatiw (Peter); his cousin Beverly Erickson; Scarlett of Yellowknife.
