The memory of Michelle Yvette Pizzi (Thunder Bay, Ontario), who passed away on July 1, 2024 at the age of 53, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She is survived by: her husband Mike Pizzi; her parents, Mike Verescak and Klara Verescak; her sister Nancy (Brian); her nieces, Ava and Lily; her in-laws, Giacomo and Cristina Pizzi; her cousins, Sean (Kaitlyn), Andrew (Beth), Billy, Sophie, Penelope, Paige, Colin and Emma; her uncle Milan (Mary); her aunt Irene Carlson (Roger); her caregivers, Nicole, Katie, Isomena, Sydney, Isabella and Dr. Kevin Bezanson; and her friend Dr. Joey Del Paggio. She is also survived by numerous other cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family will be setting up the Michelle Pizzi Memorial Scholarship, which will be presented to a Grade 12 Student at St Patrick High School every year, starting in the next school year.
