Mitch Treichler Obituary
We announce the death of Mitch Treichler of Thunder Bay, Ontario, who passed away on June 25, 2026, at the age of 64. Mitch will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Mitch will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Mitch will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture his life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Mitch’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his in-laws, John (Jack), Tressa Wright and Deanna Treichler; his parents, Vieno Treichler (Niivila) and Jake Treichler; his sister-in-law Leslie Brown; and his sister Kelley Treichler.
He is survived by: his wife Kim; and his children, Mitchell II and Tressa (Kyle MacLeod). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
