He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Ina Kanate, Emily McNeill and Alan McNeill; and his uncle Richard McNeill. He is survived by: his parents, Deborah Bergman (Dennis) and Raymond John Kanate (Gabrielle); his siblings, Nicole Kanate, Alexis, Sunshine, Kristina, Autumn, Hazel and Wyatt Kanate; his stepsiblings, Joseph (Stephanie) and Anasthasia Bergman; his grandfather Isiah Kanate; his aunts and uncles, Samantha McNeill, Dinah Kanate, Linda Kanate, Tinea Kanate, Susan Williams (Zeb), Martin and Richard Kanate; and his cousins, Hayley (Ronan), Jayda (Soren), Hope McNeill, Tharen McNeill, Korban, Hunter Wanakamik, Sophie, Bella, Beaux McNeill, Derek, Charlotte, Patrick, Dianne and Russell Kanate. He is also survived by numerous other cousins and family.
