Murray left this world on October 30, 2025 at the age of 56, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his brother Terry. He is survived by: his children, Nicole and Matthew Waboose; the mother of his children Sandra Waboose; his parents, Elijah Waboose and Felicia Waboose; his siblings, Rayanne Waboose, Barry Waboose and Georgina Lentz; and his in-laws, Shelly Boudreau, Dean Dunbar and Darren Lentz. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Westfort Chapel (420 Gore St W, Thunder Bay, ON P7E6J2). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul's Anglican Church (808 Ridgeway St E, Thunder Bay, ON P7E5H5).
