As we bid Myrna Kaye farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Myrna Kaye is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her father Lawrence Mason. She is survived by: her mother Mary Harper; her son Devontray Desbines; and her siblings, Jonah Meekis, Mark Meekis, Blue Mason, Kevin Mason, Jeremy Mason, Beverly Emma Meekis, Crystal Meekis and Andy Meekis (Sterling Mason). She is also survived by many aunties, uncles, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, May 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Jenkens Funeral Home (226 Syndicate Ave S, Thunder Bay, ON P7E1C8). A funeral service was held on Monday, May 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
