Nelda Legarde Obituary

As we bid Nelda farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Nelda is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret Mendowegan and Joseph Mendowegan; and her sisters, Joann Mendowegan and Beverly McKay. She is survived by: her son Nathaniel Legarde; and her siblings, Roseline Mugaby (Dennis), Norma Vaillancourt, Merna Mendowegan and Basil Mendowegan (Rena). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church (121 Picnic Point Rd, Longlac, ON P0T2A0).
