We are sad to announce that on July 20, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Nestor Petro Chehowy (Thunder Bay, Ontario). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Chehowy and Mary Chehowy; his daughter Catherine; and his nephew Greg Leschishin. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his daughter Susan; his grandchildren, Peter, Amanda Graham, Alexander Graham (Nicoletta) and Benjamin Graham; his great grandchildren, Grace, Charlie Graham, Grayson, Everett and Saylor Graham; and his siblings, Zena, Helen, Olga, Iris and Myron. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Westfort Chapel (420 Gore St W, Thunder Bay, ON P7E6J2). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Thunder Bay Regional Cancer Centre (payable to TBRHSF), St. Joseph's Hospital - Palliative Care Program or a charity close to your heart would be greatly appreciated.
